FRANCE TRAVEL UPDATE

This is not a regular entry. Just an update to let you guys know what's going on at present.

Paris was exquisite on so many levels. There are plenty of photos and experiences to share with you. However, I jumped a train to the French Riviera because I heard that I could grab some work down here making Euros. With the exchange rate being what it is, I am glad for the opportunity. I am staying in a quite beautiful hostel that overlooks the Mediterranean. So there are no complaints.

With that said, there is no Internet access (I am at a cyber cafe), so I won't be able to upload up Paris photos right away. Give me some time and I'll figure it all out. I just wanted to let you guys know, that I am A-ok but I might be offline for the next couple of days.

Where I am: Antibes. It's a jewel of a place between Cannes and Nice. Both places are only a short train ride away - think Harlem to lower Manhattan - so I will be going there too. My room is super cheap $16 Euro, which I am very plenty grateful for. Breakfast and sheets are included and the bathrooms and shower stalls are clean. YES!!!! In this backpacking scene, that's something that people would pay for. 

Whom I've met so far: 5 Aussies, 1 Irish girl, 2 White Africans from Capetown, 4 Mexicans, 1 Danish woman, 1 Indian woman from Goa who spoke English, French and Spanish, several Americans (mostly California and New York), 2 Canadians, 3 Brits, 1 Franco-African girl and dozens of immigrant Africans in France. Whew! 

I've got so much to share about Paris and my trip here to the riviera that I hope to be able to upload it all very soon!
